1. About these terms
These terms are between you and [Company name] ("Bunch", "we"). By creating an account or using Bunch you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password safe.
- The person who starts a family space is the "organiser". The organiser can invite and remove members and manages the subscription.
- If you set Bunch up for someone else, such as an older relative, make sure they are happy to use it and understand what is shared.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Free trial and subscription
- Every new family gets a free trial of [30 days] with all features, including calls inside Bunch. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, Bunch Family costs [€4.99] a month per family, including [VAT if applicable]. One person subscribes for the whole family; other members join free.
- If a family does not subscribe after the trial, group voice and video calls switch off. Family Chat, the Calendar and the other everyday features stay free. We do not delete your information.
- You can cancel at any time from the subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next payment. [Add refund approach: for example, no refunds for part months.]
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices with at least [30 days] notice.
- [Consumer cancellation rights: confirm wording with a solicitor.]
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Bunch to harass or threaten anyone, share illegal or harmful content, spy on someone who has not agreed, impersonate others, or try to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the messages, photos and other content you share. You give us permission to store, process and show it to the people you share it with, so that Bunch can work. You are responsible for having the right to share it, including other people's photos and details.
6. Calls, location and check-ins
- Calls depend on your internet connection and your device settings. Notifications may be delayed or missed, and Bunch cannot ring a locked phone like a normal phone call.
- The Family Map shows home addresses that people have chosen to share. It is not live tracking.
- Check-ins are a simple way to ask someone if they are okay. They are not an alarm or monitoring service.
7. Not an emergency or medical service
Bunch is not a medical device, alarm or emergency service. In an emergency, call 112 or 999. Calendar reminders, including medication reminders, are an aid and not a replacement for professional care or your own checks.
8. Availability
We work to keep Bunch running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features, and will give notice of important changes.
9. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control. [Solicitor to review this section.]
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account in Me at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When an account ends, your personal data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes in the app, and continued use means you accept them.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts can hear disputes, though this does not remove any rights you have as a consumer elsewhere. Contact us at [support email].
